Stopping and staring in windows is probably one of my favorite New York City activities. When it comes to window dressing, the city is second to none and I never cease to be amazed by the creativity retailers express to bring windows to life. Particularly the DIY themed ones, obviously!
Last night on my way home from the gym, I was taking a peek into the window’s of one of my favorite NYC stores, Fish’s Eddy. I was staring at what I thought was a really beautiful dress in the window, which was confusing since it’s a housewares store, until I realized the dress was made entirely of spoons. And it was gorgeous!
A smaller version, using silver versions of plastic spoons, could be a really incredible centerpiece at a little girl’s birthday party or a bridal shower. All it would take is some good craft glue, a styrofoam core, and a whole lotta spoons.
